Terms of Use
Five Boards is currently an unreleased development build. Features, game availability, rules presentation, and these terms may change before release.
Permission to use
Bencode Studio grants authorized testers a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable permission to use Five Boards for personal evaluation. No ownership rights are transferred.
Current scope
The build may contain unfinished features, provisional rules, placeholders, or previews. Achi and Shisima are playable development modules, Dara remains subject to final review, and Fanorona and Morabaraba are not represented as complete playable releases.
Fair and respectful use
Do not reverse engineer, redistribute, sell, exploit, interfere with, or use the app unlawfully, except where applicable law expressly permits. Do not present Bencode Studio’s digital implementations, writing, visual assets, or branding as your own.
Game traditions
The traditional games represented in Five Boards belong to living cultural histories and are not claimed by Bencode Studio. Copyright may apply to the app’s original software, writing, artwork, audio, arrangement, and digital presentation.
No warranty
The development build is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties to the extent permitted by law. Saved progress may be reset or become incompatible during development.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Bencode Studio is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss arising from use of an unreleased build.
Termination
Testing access may end at any time. When access ends, stop using and delete the development build.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable in the District of Columbia, United States, without overriding consumer protections that apply where you live.
